German indie pop band Space Melon, last month released their track Silver Spoon. What I really like about this song is how the band are showing us the full openness into into the soul, which sometimes requires us taking ownership of some of those things we try to ignore.
For example I really like the line, ‘...no more feelings, I lost my shit, I stepped out of line…’ because there represents recognising those moments where we have to take accountability, even for the moments where we know we could have responded better. I respect the fact that Space Melon are not afraid to delve into the darkness, but done so in a way which brings our thoughts back into the light.
Would definitely recommend you give this song a listen. Feel the music, and allow it to speak to your own internal monologue.
