German band Inner Axis released their song Master & Commander in February, and has to probably one of the infectious tracks you could ever listen to as it mixes together so many styles of rock and metal into one beautiful song. For example there are parts that reminds me of the likes of Alkaline Trio, Iron Maiden and Disturbed.
The lyrics are so easy for a new listener to pick up and provide a chorus we can all chant to, especially lyrics such as “I am your Master, Master, Master and Commander, I am Master of You All. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, there are also numerous guitar solos, which help to elevate the song even more.
