American Express presents Roundhay Festival is the newest highlight of Leeds’s 2026 summer cultural calendar. Today, we’re excited to announce Roundhay Festival’s first headliner: Lewis Capaldi. Known for his intimate songs and powerful vocals, Capaldi will continue the legacy of Roundhay Park, performing at the iconic location on Saturday 4th July next year.

Roundhay Park is steeped in music history, having hosted legendary performances from the likes of Madonna, The Rolling Stones and, more recently, Ed Sheeran. Next year it will host live music from some of the world’s biggest stars, as well as a midweek programme of free activities. The first headliner will be announced very soon.

Launched in collaboration with Leeds City Council, Roundhay Festival will deliver substantial benefits to the local area, including increased economic activity. Following the success of AEG’s other festivals, Roundhay will engage local suppliers, employ local staff, and boost spending on accommodation, food and entertainment. The festival’s midweek programme of free-to-access activities for all ages will also offer high-quality arts, culture and wellbeing activities, providing a platform for local talent and encouraging continuous use of the park during the summer.

Roundhay Festival is committed to a sustainable future for live music. From powering the festival responsibly to managing waste and partnering with local food vendors, sustainability will underpin every decision. The festival will continually refine its policies to minimise environmental impact while maximising benefits for the local community.

Breaking out in 2019 with his record-breaking single ‘Someone You Loved’, Capaldi followed up with BRIT-nominated debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. Capaldi took a hiatus following the release of his sophomore album, but returned with an inspirational, triumphant surprise show at Glastonbury in 2025, featuring his new song ‘Survive’, and a joyous appearance at Noah Kahan’s set this year, sparking a rapturous welcome from fans. The single became the fastest-selling single of 2025 and that success has also seen his biggest-ever opening week sales for a single. Capaldi now joins esteemed company with the likes of Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Drake, Lady Gaga & Queen to achieve six UK number 1 singles, beating David Bowie, Katy Perry, The Police & more.

A headliner-sized Pyramid Stage crowd embraced the emotion of Capaldi’s return - one of the cultural moments of the year - for a powerful, hit-laden half-hour Glastonbury set. “I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn’t finish last time,” said Capaldi. That he emphatically did, with his soaring vocals leading the crowd through classics, as well as a first live showing for ‘Survive’, and a unifying performance of ‘Someone You Loved’.

Now, Capaldi is making his ultimate comeback performing at Roundhay Festival on Saturday 4th July and at BST Hyde Park on Saturday July 11,The beloved Scottish singer is currently making his way through a sold-out 17-date UK arena tour, having been met by rapturous crowds so far in Sheffield, Aberdeen & Glasgow - a powerful reminder of the connection he commands. The response to the tour has been electric, with critics unanimous in their praise, delivering four and five-star reviews across the board.

Prior to his comeback, Capaldi played a run of Scottish warm-up shows in May that saw him return to the stage as a guest of mental health charity CALM, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. Capaldi’s last release, the hit-stacked record Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, scored him his second UK number 1 album, creating another three heartbreaking UK number 1 singles, ‘Pointless’, ‘Wish You The Best’ and the Platinum-certified ‘Forget Me’.

April 2023 saw the global Netflix release of Capaldi’s compelling, raw and honest feature-length, GRAMMY®-nominated music documentary ‘Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now’ - available to watch on the platform now. The documentary shot straight to the top of the Netflix chart, making it the most-watched film on the platform since its release.

Capaldi’s subsequent success stems back to 2019’s multimillion-selling debut Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which propelled Capaldi from bedroom musician to superstar. Few had seen a debut release quite like it, becoming the biggest selling UK album of both 2019 & 2020, spawning two UK number 1 singles, bagging a few BRITs and a GRAMMY® nomination, with one of those number 1’s becoming a smash hit on both sides of the globe in ‘Someone You Loved’, which as well as recently going 10x Platinum, is also the UK’s most streamed song of all time & the world’s fourth highest ever streamed song.

As he continues to mark a new era, Capaldi has returned even stronger, heart wide open, and ready to step out again.

VIP Preferred sounds convenient until your eCheck history suddenly shows up with errors that you didn’t even create. A few wrong transactions or duplicate entries can tank your credibility with banks or casinos before you realize what’s happening. The issue isn’t always financial—it’s often bad reporting by the data network itself. This explainer digs into how those VIP Preferred eCheck credit report errors happen and what your rights are under the Fair Credit Reporting Act: https://consumerattorneys.com/article/vip-preferred-echeck-credit-report-errors. Worth a read if you’ve ever had deposits or withdrawals misreported—because when payment data goes wrong, it follows you longer than it should.

It’s always fascinating how such large events get their audience buzzing months ahead of time. For anyone looking to enhance their event's visibility and connections, seo outreach is an incredibly effective way to build those vital links and relationships. I recently read about it on an insightful site about SEO strategies, which really opened my eyes to how powerful outreach can be for festivals like this one. If you're looking to boost your event's online presence, it might be worth exploring more about seo outreach.

After a long period of routine, I felt the need to try something new. I’d read a lot about power dynamics but never had the courage to explore them. While searching, I discovered dominatrix escort kansas city kansas , and it made me realize that this city actually has discreet ways for adults to experiment. It’s not about extremes, but about trust and respectful communication.
