Porij share new single 'Dirty Love'

Porij today share their infectious new single Dirty Love. The Manchester based quartet exude youthful positivity with impossibly expansive and high-energy songwriting. Not subscribing to any particular genre, exploring pop, r'n'b, funk and jazz - they have received early support from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Mary AnneHobbsLauren Laverne- resulting in a BBC 6 Music playlist for recent single 150. Dirty Love is seductive and fun with a chorus as catchy as it is confident. A mix of house, dubstep and dancehall rhythms coming together in a sea of good vibes. On top of radio support there has been significant DSP love. The band also sold out Manchester's YES prior to lockdown. Dirty Love arrives with a vibrant new video, providing an intriguing visual accompaniment to the four-piece.

Vocalist Eggy says of the single;

"I wrote this song because I wanted to create a moment that was purely fictional. I had a lot of deadlines on at the time so I escaped into this weird cult in my mind. You’re invited in to discover the cult’s toxic euphoria as they live life dictated by a freaky Queen. Persuasive with hints of kink we hope you come join the oat gang."

Eggy (vocal and keys), Tommy (vocal and guitar), Jammo (bass and keys) and Tom (Drums) are all currently studying in Manchester. They write, record and produce their modern alternative pop sounds in their student house - each member recording parts in their separate studios/bedrooms and then merging the sounds together meticulously, to form their distinctive “oats” sound.
