Coastal bars and North East brewers have announced that they will come together in February 2022 in celebration of the region's blossoming craft beer scene.
Taking place over the weekend of 18th, 19th and 20th February, All Pints East will be led by the much loved North Shields Fish Quay venue Salt Market Social – and will feature some of the most celebrated producers of craft beer who have commitment to provide discerning craft beer lovers the highest of quality from around the UK.
Featuring some of the finest bars the coast has to offer right now including Left Luggage Rooms, Nord Bottle Shop, Enigma Tap, Front Street Tap and Salt Market Social as well as leading North East craft brewers such as Almasty, Dog and Rabbit, Errant, Flash House, Full Circle, Northern Alchemy, Out There Brewing, Two By Two, and Wylam, organisers have promised three full days of craft beer heaven for its guests.
All Pints East organiser and Salt Market Social co-founder Jim Mawdsley, explains: “I came up with an idea to make sure we had a beer festival that involved all of the leading lights of the independent craft beer community in North Tyneside who have been flying the flag for great quality craft beer in the area.
“We all sell beer from the breweries we have invited and many of them have been putting the region on the national and in some cases international beer map. We wanted to bring all that together and have a celebration of all that is great in this wonderful industry of ours.”
“We hope that this will become an annual event, firmly fixed in all beer lovers' diaries.”
Andrew Findlay of Left Luggage continues: “We are very excited to be part of the biggest coastal beer event ever.
“The independent scene here has become massive over the last few years and we have always been a really close and supportive community. This will be a great opportunity for people we see every day to enjoy something a bit different and see some new faces so we can show them the best of what the coast has to offer.”
The bars involved in All Pints East will all be representing their favourite and most popular national breweries with many beer industry heavy hitters still to be announced.
Alongside the steady flow of beer there will also be live music and DJs playing throughout the three day gathering alongside an array of Salt Market Street Food stalls to ensure the festival experience.
It is set to be an amazing collection of everything that is great about drinking beer in the North East right now, particularly the North Tyneside Coast.
Graeme Dickson, Marketing and Events Manager, Full Circle Brew Co, added: “We're excited to be involved in the All Pints East festival next year.
“The event is going to be a great showcase of what the North East has on offer, and in our opinion, we boast some of the best beers around the country. It's great to see some of the best craft beer bars involved in this event as well, and all of us coming together to celebrate surely sets up for a fantastic weekend.”
