This weekend sees the arrival of Live From Reykjavik, a massive celebration of Icelandic musical talent, and the first major global streaming event to come out of Iceland.

Of Monsters and Men, Ólafur Arnalds, Ásgeir, DaðiFreyr, EmilíanaTorrini and more will stream two evenings of unforgettable performances across Friday November 13th and Saturday November 14th 2020.

Brought to you by the team from Iceland Airwaves music festival, the line up reflects the creativity, dynamism and diversity of Iceland’s thriving music scene, and offers some well needed levity at this end of the year.

The festival features both internationally established acts and artists on the rise. Of Monsters and Men will perform a dazzling set in an intimate setting. Ólafur Arnalds will premiere a special show in support of his just released album ‘some kind of peace’.

Ásgeir, one Iceland’s best loved singer songwriters, will visit music from his latest long player ‘Bury the Moon’ right back to his debut ‘In The Silence’. EmilíanaTorrini makes a welcome return, joined by friends Tina Dickow, Markéta Irglová, Pétur Ben and Helgi Jonsson performing each other’s songs in an intimate set.

Performances will be captured across iconic Airwaves venues such as Iðnó, GamlaBío, ReykjavíkArtMuseum, Hafnarfjörður’s Bæjarbíó and more.

The stream is available worldwide and it’s possible to watch from anywhere. For ticket information, viewing times and choice of time zones, visit www.icelandairwaves.is/live
