The front panel also features an NFC touchpoint,  allowing instant access to online media simply by holding your smartphone over the reader.

The player fully supports playback from cloud storage and music streaming services, enhancing every stage of your workflow – from track  preparation to playing live. Built-in Wi-Fi enables wireless internet access without the need for LAN cables, helping  you set up quickly and smoothly in any environment. On the front panel, an NFC touchpoint allows you to instantly  access online music by simply holding your smartphone – running the latest version of rekordbox for iOS/Android – over the reader. With just a CDJ-3000X and your phone, you can access your music library from anywhere in the  world and start your set right away. The player is also equipped with a USB Type-C port for connecting to a USB  storage device or PC/Mac – enabling faster, seamless integration with the latest devices and computers.

Enhanced browsing experience: Go beyond the next track 

Browse, select, and manage your tracks more intuitively on the CDJ-3000X. The 10.1-inch high-resolution  capacitive touchscreen now displays up to 16 tracks in the browse screen. With better visibility and smooth control,  you can find and play tracks quicker. For rapid searching, you can now copy track information and paste it straight  into the search bar. And for the first time on a CDJ, you can edit playlists by reordering the tracks directly from the  unit.^*1 Even better, if you’re using Cloud Library Sync, the changes you make will automatically be synced across all your devices. 

Manage tracks from various media sources, all in one playlist, with Global Tag List. You can tag tracks from your  USB device, cloud storage locations, and streaming services, so they all appear in a single list. Those from online  sources will start downloading as soon as you tag them, minimizing load times to help make your performances  smoother. Plus, the time it takes for track information to display when you’re using rekordbox CloudDirectPlay has  been significantly reduced. Even when you’re browsing music stored online, it feels just as smooth as with USB  drives.

Enhanced Hot Cue features for quicker preparation and more creativity 

Dive into a new Hot Cue workflow that can help you analyze the structure of tracks in real time and perform more  spontaneously. The CDJ-3000X includes the popular Touch Cue feature – which lets you listen to any point in a  track through your headphones by pressing on the waveform – and introduces the option to set Hot Cues from the  point you’re monitoring. For smoother cueing, turn on Smart Cue^*2 and the position and color of a called-up Hot  Cue will automatically overwrite the current cue point. Gate Cue is available too, where sound plays only while you  hold down a Hot Cue button – opening up new creative possibilities for tone play and other performance techniques.

The play and cue buttons have been rebuilt to handle the most  energetic use and can withstand over 500,000 additional presses compared to the previous model. Whether you  want to scratch dynamically, or delicately bend the pitch, you can find your sweet spot and control the music more  precisely with the expanded range of jog wheel tension adjustment. And there’s no need to worry if you accidentally  disconnect your USB drive or if the internet connection is briefly interrupted because, when you load a track, the  whole file is cached to the player’s memory so it will play right to the end, no matter what happens.

Building on the high-quality sound design and advanced digital audio  processing developed for the CDJ-3000, the CDJ-3000X takes sound quality to the next level. With a new high performance digital-to-analog converter made by ESS Technology, the CDJ-3000X achieves a better S/N ratio than  the previous model, resulting in clearer and more refined sound reproduction. A newly designed power supply unit  reduces unwanted noise and enhances low-frequency power, delivering punchy bass and a warm tone that won’t  tire the ears – even during long sets. The sound tuning of the CDJ-3000X was refined through on-site testing in  various club environments and developed with input from professional sound engineers, ensuring exceptional audio  performance in any setting, from intimate venues to large-scale outdoor festivals.
