Honest Burgers have once again proven why they’re at the forefront of the UK burger scene — and this time, they’re paying tribute to the late, great Anthony Bourdain with a limited-edition creation that’s as bold and unforgettable as the man himself.
The New York Deli Burger, available now until 9th June, is their latest monthly special and it’s a flavour-packed homage to the kind of sandwich Bourdain famously adored — reimagined in burger form. It features grilled mortadella, smoky and crisp around the edges, adding a rich depth of flavour that anchors the entire build. Melted smoked mozzarella, sweet caramelised onions, and tangy pickles bring balance and contrast, while a generous layer of confit garlic dijonnaise, made in collaboration with the iconic Grey Poupon, ties it all together with creamy, garlicky sharpness.
The result is a burger that’s not just delicious — it’s an explosion of textures and tastes. From the crunch of grilled meat to the softness of melted cheese and the zing of pickles, every bite is satisfyingly complex yet perfectly unified. As ever, it’s served with Honest’s legendary crispy rosemary salted chips, and you can choose your protein: classic beef, double smashed beef, or fried chicken — all for £15.75.
The burger captures the spirit of a classic New York deli, but with Honest’s unmistakable British twist. It's bold, indulgent, and thoughtfully crafted — a fitting tribute that’s well worth seeking out before it disappears from menus next month.
