And here we go, Brit Awards 2023!..

The one and only Harry Styles kicks off the night with an incredible performance of 'As It Was'. What a start for The Brits!

The night's first award is for Hip Hop/ Grime Rap act and the winner for this is Aitch. A well-deserved winner for sure.

Up next is the award for International Artist and there are some incredible artists up for this so going to be a difficult one. But there can only be one winner and that is... BEYONCE!! Sadly she couldn't attend the brits but she sent a thankful video message.

The dance act award has some amazing nominees too some of those being Fred Again, Becky Hill and David Guetta. A hard one for even me to pick a favourite. For the second year in a row, Becky Hill takes the award for this. She has done outstanding for herself over the years and deserves this award.

The next performance is from Wet Leg, a very interesting one to say the least. Many dancers and people dressed in different animal costumes take over the stage whilst they sing 'Chaise Lounge'.

The pop/ RnB act award has some amazing nominees. These are: Cat Burns, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles and Sam Smith. But everyone knew who this would go to and that being Harry Styles. Rocking a silk shirt and suit, looking as good as ever he accepted his award and gave a massive thank you to everyone.

Next up is a performance from as Mo said 'Sam Calpaldi', whether that was intentional or not, we don't know. Anyway, Lewis Capaldi! Wow what a stunning performance of 'Forget Me'. Every time he performs, he wows me as well as everyone else.

The award for Best New Artist is another hard pick with some incredible nominees. The winner of this award went to the well-deserved 'Wet Leg'. This is their first ever Brit Award and what a category to win it for.

The next category is Artist Of The Year. Wow, what incredible nominees. I love every single person nominated so even I can't choose one. Can you?..

and the winner is..... HARRY STYLES. This man just doesn't stop. He spent his speech thanking his whole family and especially his mum who has been there since the X factor days as well as thanking the rest of the One Direction boys! and we all got to see Harry Styles do a shot.

As always an incredible and talented performance from Lizzo! The outfit as well, Wow! She knows how to put on a show for sure. For those who didn't know but she is a very good flute player and she gave us a solo of that in the performance. No one can do it like Lizzo.

We are halfway through the night and the next category is for Best International group of the year. A variety of different artists but the winner for this is, Fontaines D.C. They couldn't be here tonight as they're currently living it up in sunny Australia but Carlos came and accepted their award on their behalf.

Group of the year nominations consist of some amazing artists this year, these being: The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Nova Twins and Wet Leg. The winner for this is... 'Wet leg'. To be honest it isn't who I would've picked but they still well deserved of this award as this now is their second Brit of the night.

Up next is International Song Of The Year. This is another category full of talented artists and a very hard category to choose a winner from. But there can only be one winner and the artist taking this home is... Beyonce, Break My Soul. This is definitely a feel-good song and certainly deserves this award.

The Alternative Rock category is one of my favourites. The nominees for this are The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Nova Twins, Tom Brennan and Wet Leg. The winner for this is... THE 1975!! Being a fan of these since the very beginning, I believe I can say that this is a well deserved for a very talented band.

Another performance and this being by the talented Stormzy. Every time I see him perform, he just wows me every time and I believe everyone else would say this too. Singing his new song, Hide n Seek joined with an orchestra. A massive crowd reaction to him which you could see made him very happy.

Song of the year nominees are all worthy of this award. Some of the nominees are: Dave 'Starlight', Harry Styles 'As It Was', Lewis Capaldi 'Forget Me' and Cat Burns ' Go'.And the winner for this category is, bet you can guess... Harry Styles. This man is shocked every time he wins which shows he is so grateful for every win.

Coming up to the final performances, the talented Cat Burns takes to the stage singing 'Go', which was massive on TikTok. She is a gifted artist with a soothing incredible voice.

All I can say about that performance is Wow! Sam Smith and Kim Petras certainly know how to put on a performance! Singing their latest single 'Unholy', their performance was on fire, almost literally!

The last award of the night is for Album Of The Year. This category is full of unbelievable talent. The nominations for this are: The 1975 - Being Funny In A Foreign Language, Fred Again - Actual Life 3, Harry Styles - Harry's House, Stormzy - This Is What I Mean And Wet Leg - Wet Leg.

But I bet you can all guess who took this award home meaning this was his fourth Brit of the night..Harry Styles. He has become a little drunk at this point and so has his producer. He said this album and song was the most fun he had making music. You could say he made The Brits his home.

And to end the night on a high, David Guetta, Becky Hill and Ella Henderson take to the stage to perform with a special guest, Sam Ryder. An incredible performance off all of them. They all have so much talent and when you put this together, it's just indescribable!

And that's a wrap. What can I say! The Brits 2023 certainly didn't disappoint. Every category showed so much talent and all the awards went to worthy winners. I'm excited to see what the rest of 2023 brings us for new music and new talent.
