Pop singer/songwriter Christian French releases his new track “OH WELL“ along with the music video via Disruptor Records/RCA Records. The video is directed by Nicholas Jandora (24kGoldn, Lil Skies).
“OH WELL” shows Christian on the continued search to truly get to know himself by taking back control of his life, by owning his lows and openly acknowledging his “bad days”. He’s taking his struggles and embracing them as part of life; facing these pressures head-on and choosing to take on a positive outlook to help him on his journey to live authentically as himself, as he is simultaneously figuring out who he is.
Christian French says, “i wrote this song after a bunch of super shitty days in a row, where i just couldn’t catch a break. things kept going wrong & i was feeling more & more disconnected from myself by the day. usually around this time i start to implode, but writing this song helped me step off the ledge & not take things so personally - sometimes after so long all u can do is let go & say oh well”
“OH WELL” follows Christian’s most recent release “Avalanche” which was a byproduct of Christian reflecting on all his past relationships. It pivots from the introspection of prior releases to an interrogation of what exactly waters the seed of romantic doubt. It’s a brisk pop song that gallops with passion, contrasting the sober realization that the time has come to move on from his partner. Earlier this fall, he performed the track on KTLA’s Music Fest Fridays. Check it out HERE.
Last month, Christian wrapped up his North American headlining “Avalanche Tour” where he played in major cities including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Phoenix and Dallas.
