Alessi Rose’s headline performance at the O2 City Hall Newcastle confirmed her position as one of British pop’s most compelling new live acts. The show, part of her Voyeur UK tour, drew a boisterous crowd who knew virtually every word from Rose’s rapidly expanding catalogue a demonstration of both the strength of her songs and the devotion of her fanbase.

The set opened with the punchy alt-pop anthem “That Could Be Me”, immediately setting a high energy tone that persisted throughout the evening. Backed by a full band that added weight and texture to her performance, Rose navigated between upbeat numbers and more intimate, emotional moments. Tracks like “Eat me Alive” and “First Original Thought ignited sing alongs, while emotionally raw songs such as “Don’t ask Questions and “Bittersweet” showcased her ability to connect on a deeper level.

Visually, the stage was simple yet effective, anchored by a central plinth and moody lighting that shifted with the emotional arc of the set. The show’s pacing reflected an artist confident in her craft each song felt deliberate, and the transitions between high-octane energy and tender vulnerability were smooth and natural.

Rose’s rapport with the audience was a highlight. Between songs she shared glimpses into her creative process and personal experiences, reinforcing the authenticity that has become a hallmark of her appeal. The crowd responded in kind, voices rising in unison during climactic choruses and echoing back every hook with fervour.

Closing with her emotionally charged anthem “Same Mouth”, Rose finished the last night of her tour in Newcastle on a high, the cheers lingering long after the final chord. This performance cementing her status as a rising star with crucial momentum heading into 2026.
