To coincide with the release of the new album, DRENGE have announced a UK tour for spring 2019, with tickets are on general now.
Speaking about the new album, the band say, “It’s a nocturnal record. A psychological horror movie on wax. Warped hallucinations from mundane observations as you move through it. Is that a school or a skyscraper on fire in the distance? Or maybe it’s just the ski village? You drive nearer, past roadside diners jammed with dancing teenagers, through Uncanny Valley, past the most unhygienic nightclub in the world. The stereo sounds like it’s going to fall apart at any moment. The car judders to a halt and all you can hear is the sound of the sea.”

The Japanese House Celebrate Debut LP With A UK Tour In March 2019
Good At Falling Released 1st March 2019
The Japanese House has announced a headline UK tour for March, concluding with a night at London Electric Ballroom. The tour, which takes in seven dates across the UK, will celebrate the release of her debut album, Good At Falling which will be released via Dirty Hit on 1 March. Tickets go on sale on Friday 18 January at 9am.
Produced by The Japanese House [aka Amber Bain] BJ Burton [Low, Bon Iver] and George Daniel from the 1975 in Wisconsin, Brussels and Oxford, Good At Falling follows four acclaimed EPs and her most recent singles Follow My Girl and LILO. The widely spoken about video for LILO captures Bain and real life ex-girlfriend Marika Hackman acting out the intimate and heart-breaking final moments of their relationship. The song is a reflection of an album that draws from Bain’s life in a way her work never has before; a more personal, more vulnerable and yet confident body of work.
“These songs are definitely more direct,” she explains, “the album has a lot more of me in it, so it makes sense”.

Queen Zee Debut LP & UK Tour
Released 8th February 2019
Dynamic Merseyside outfit Queen Zee have announced their debut self-titled LP and an eight date UK tour for February 2019. The album will be released on vinyl, CD and digital formats via the band’s own label Sasstone Records.
The recent Queen Zee single, Sass or Die , was a call to arms that defines the band’s riotous ethos and energy. The anarchic, enigmatic band have rapidly established a cult following over the last year as they continue to defy conventions and subvert what it means to be a band. The album’s 10 tracks perfectly capture the mania of their now-infamous and raucous live shows, and firmly cements them as torch bearers of a new generation of British guitar bands.
Last year was an exciting year for Queen Zee, culminating in a full UK tour in support of Dream Wife after Sass or Die made the Radio X playlist and earned John Kennedy’s track of the week. Earlier last year the band won PRS Flash Funding at The Great Escape Festival, which enabled them to put their madness into this debut record, and were then awarded PRS Momentum Funding to continue the journey.

Not A Threat Just A Warning: 22nd February 2019
FUDGE. are a young band from Leeds with confidence, attitude and an edge of danger. They possess an ability to write songs that will hit you like a hammer to the guts and the same can be said for their live shows. They are fostering a reputation for wild and breathless live performances and, yes, the full stop does matter.
Following their debut release earlier this year, their second single, Not A Threat Just A Warning, will be released on 22 February 2019 and launched with a headline show at the 360 Club at Leeds Lending Room on the same day.
FUDGE. believe they are the catalyst between you and a good time. They ask you to be ready to wrap your ears around contagious verses and a riot of stomping riffs that will have you moshing in your kitchen. Running things from Leeds, they aim to quickly push their name and what they have to say around the country with their explosive live performance.
Anyone who has witnessed them live will nod knowingly to that. It’s a staggering spectacle, verging on the precipice of danger and threat, as band members launch into the mosh pit whilst still playing their instruments. But always watching each other’s back, always watching the audience’s back. Their songs, and in particular Not A Threat Just A Warning, may often have an air of violence and menace but a blanket of compassion and unity hovers over FUDGE. and they ensure that none of the good people of Leeds will be harmed in the making of this band.
